Banner+aid helps the online community to give their paid  banner advertising a temporary makeover and help spread the word for  charities to give to those in need.
The modification is a simple, fast and cost free way for your  organisation to get behind a range of very worthy causes.

Rolling over will result in the banner been taken over by the red cross. Good stuff

Digital agency Soup/Skive is raising money for Japan by taking advantage of natural rivalries between different agency departments. Staff put their small change in their department’s bottle, where every penny counts for one point - but they can also scupper rival teams by putting £1 coins or notes into their bottles, which count negatively against that department’s score.

All the money goes to the Red Cross Japan Tsunami Appeal, and the bottle with the highest score at the end wins a treat. And of course everyone involved gets to feel jolly good about themselves - especially creatives and HYC members Hanja Baruschke and Holly Brockwell, who came up with the idea.
